A Saudi coalition spokesman confirms the interception and destruction of a drone launched from Yemen towards Saudi Arabia.
Saudi TV announced that the air defense forces of the Saudi coalition “intercepted and destroyed an explosive drone launched by the Yemeni Houthi group towards the kingdom.”
“We will take operational measures to protect civilians and civilian objects in accordance with international humanitarian law,” the coalition said in a statement.
The spokesman for the coalition forces, Turki Al-Maliki, said, “The joint coalition forces were able, Monday morning, to intercept and destroy an explosively formed drone.”
