If you put this into perspective, if you were only going to play your PS5 console for two hours a day, you would have about seven months of use outside of your console before you started noticing the drift. This is something that only happens with the intensity of this joystick, when general use of the controller over time triggers the potentiometers that would normally cause the drift.
Of course, the numbers above will be different from person to person, depending on the games you play.
