The Saudi Red Sea Company – one of the mega projects of the “Kingdom’s Vision 2030” – announced the start of building hotels throughout the project. It announced that two Saudi and Swiss companies had obtained two contracts to support development plans and construction work for luxury hotels and resorts on the island of “Umm al-Sheikh”, in addition to To build 40 hotel villas in the desert product, design and manufacture wooden structures and supply their requirements for one of the hotels to be built on the island, after the Red Sea Development Company awarded two contracts yesterday to the two companies to implement projects.
The CEO of the Red Sea Development Company, John Pagano, explained that these contracts constitute a starting point for a new phase in the development of the destination’s resorts on the mainland, which will be with an integrated infrastructure underground and on top of it.
This launch reflects the great progress that has been made in the development of the destination, as the Red Sea project has reached important milestones in the development work, and work is being done rapidly to receive guests by the end of 2022 with the opening of the international airport and the first four hotels, while the remaining 12 hotels scheduled to be established will be opened. Within the first phase in 2023.
