The Sharjah Education Council, through its offering of the volunteer opportunity called (Zakat on Knowledge), has benefited more than 5,893 participants and participants from various Gulf Cooperation Council countries, Arab countries as well as countries of the world, in the context of many people taking advantage of the virtual educational workshops allocated by them. Through his platform in his most prominent educational projects.
The initiative met with great interaction through the constellation of volunteers who participated in presenting its workshops, in addition to the benefit that strengthened the values ​​of the Sharjah Education Council and its vision in spreading science and learning for a large group and segment from different countries of the world to take advantage of the volunteer opportunity that was compatible with the council’s goals and vision in enabling the transmission of knowledge. The knowledge and benefit of the participants from the scientific materials provided.
The Council’s launch of this initiative, which will continue for a whole year, in cooperation with the Department of Social Services represented by the Sharjah Volunteer Center, within the framework of the vision of the volunteer opportunity “Zakat on Knowledge” in offering a series of virtual training workshops with 60 virtual training workshops targeted in its general framework mainly Parents and students and provided them with advanced scientific materials.
Many workshops offered materials related to human sciences and others to administrative sciences, as well as those related to economic aspects that greatly benefited the participants. The Council revealed the importance of the initiative that works in the astronomy of the efforts of the state in general, and the Emirate of Sharjah in particular, in supporting volunteer work and spreading a culture of learning in accordance with the requirements of integration and enriching societies with voluntary educational programs converging and rooting humanitarian work, which is characteristic of the UAE society.
Dr. Saeed Musabbah Al Kaabi, member of the Sharjah Executive Council and Chairman of the Sharjah Education Council, praised the continuation of the success of Zakat for science with the Department of Social Services in the Government of Sharjah, as part of the Council’s keenness to support its strategic plans aimed at advancing the reality of volunteer work in the corridors of the Council, and working to spread and consolidate the culture of Development, and the provision of a quality platform that allows mutual benefit by those in charge of the communication process of specialists, teachers, trainers, and on the opposite side, the participants and trainees. He explained that the “Zakat on Knowledge” initiative embodies the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah, regarding the support and provision of the means to take in the hands of learners, experienced people and those who have the ability to transmit knowledge so that the project is the first project of the committee “Tender for Voluntary Work” that falls under the umbrella of the Sharjah Education Council and is concerned with its implementation in light of the council’s visions, and addressed many important topics that benefit the affiliates with their theses.
