Mohamed El-Shenawy, Egypt’s Al-Ahly goalkeeper, won the man of the match award against the Red Team against Brazilian Palmeiras on Thursday to determine the third and fourth places in the FIFA Club World Cup, currently in Qatar.
Al-Shennawi led Al-Ahly to victory over Palmeiras on penalties and crowned the bronze medal in the FIFA Clubs World Cup, after he shone during the match and tackled more than a decisive penalty shootout.
And after the end of the match, the Organizing Committee announced that El-Shenawi had won the Man of the Match award, after his distinguished performance during the meeting.
Al-Ahly won a bronze in the Club World Cup, equaling its previous achievement in 2006, when it finished third.
