Argentine star Lionel Messi is one goal away from the Spanish league’s top scorer, his former Barcelona team-mate, and current Atletico Madrid striker, Uruguayan Luis Suarez.
Messi raised his score to 15 goals, after scoring the second goal of Barcelona during his match against Deportivo Alaves (5-1), in the match that brought them together last Saturday, in the 23rd round of the League, and his team has a postponed match.
The Argentine “Barghout” thus stressed the screws on his friend and former Barcelona teammate Suarez, “Al Adadh”, who is the league’s top scorer, with 16 goals, and his team has two postponed matches.
While Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema raised his score to 12 goals, after scoring the first goal of the “Merengue” against Valencia (2-0), in the meeting that brought them together yesterday, Sunday, in the 23rd round of the League as well.
Benzema reduced the difference in turn to one goal between him and Moroccan Yusef al-Nusiri, the Seville striker, who ranks third with 13 goals.
