Japanese, Naomi Osaka, ranked third in the world, won the Australian Open tennis tournament, the first of the four Grand Slam tournaments, after her victory in the final match against her American rival, the 22nd world-ranked Jennifer Brady, in two groups without a response (6-4 and 6-3).
This is the second title for 23-year-old Osaka in the Australian Games after her first title in 2019, and the fourth in the Grand Slam tournaments after the US “Flushing Meadows” in 2018 and 2020.
With this title, the Japanese player, the former world number one, in the WTA Ranking will move to second place.
