The play “Body Guard”, the last play of the leader Adel Imam, topped the lists of the most popular topics on social media, after it was shown on the “witness” platform, after 21 years of its introduction on stage.
A number of “Twitter” singers interacted with the hashtag of the play’s name and expressed their opinion of the work as soon as it began its performance, and it seems that the play was not up to the expectations of the lead’s audience, and the majority of the comments were somewhat negative.
Among the comments made by the audience after watching “Body Guard”: “The worst play by Adel Imam, and all of them are indications, and you want me what I saw.” “The initial reactions to the play are not nice, we hope that it comes out unlike what people say.”
And other comments such as: “The Bodyguard play is unfortunately not worthy”, “Worse than the worst thing you can watch, I wish it did not go out of the stairs”, “No one wastes his time with the Bodyguard play, the worst theatrical work of Adel Imam ever.”
Another number of the audience interacted with the hashtag and expressed their admiration for the play, and wrote comments such as: “The Bodyguard play by Tat Adel Imam was revealed, which was a need that I had been seeking for a very long time.”
The play “Body Guard”, starring the leader Adel Imam, written by Youssef Maati and directed by Rami Imam, and the play’s performances were launched with the participation of the stars: “Izzat Abu Auf, Mustafa Metwally, Saeed Abdul-Ghani, and Sherine Seif Al-Nasr, and it was shown between 1999 and 2010.”
The events of the play revolve around the prisoner “Adham” who makes a deal with the imprisoned businessman “Saad”, accused of stealing 700 million pounds, so that he works as a bodyguard for his wife, “Aisha”, who falls in love with “Adham”. Over time, “Kazem” Siddiq discovers that “Saad” informs him of this exaggerated interest, and “Saad” discovers his wife’s betrayal, then fabricates an accusation for “Adham”, while he tries to escape with the money he stole, but “Adham” stands in his way.
