According to the English newspaper “The Sunday Mirror” on Sunday, Gerrard is the most prominent candidate to coach the team after Klopp.
Klopp’s current contract with the “Reds” will last until June 2024, but he may leave the team before that, as he could become a coach of the German national team, succeeding Joachim Loew.
Gerrard is presenting a distinguished season in the Glasgow Rangers training, where the team leads the league and is close to winning the title, and he also led him to the round of 16 in the European League competition “Europa League”.
