Emirates News Agency – “Dropping the Dishes” competition concludes in the Fazza Championship for Citizen Shooting

DUBAI, 28th February, 2019 (WAM) – 48 archers representing 24 teams competed in the qualifiers and final of the “Dropping Dishwasher” competition for citizens, which was held yesterday within the Fazza Championship for Citizen Shooting, organized by the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Center for the Revival of Heritage, at the center’s archery field in Al Ruwaiya district in Dubai. To culminate in the largest and longest-running version of this tournament, which witnesses a large participation of citizens.

The duo, Khalid bin Ayesh and Ayesh bin Ayesh, won first place, while Muhammad al-Kaabi and Hamid Khasif came in second place, and Saeed Shakhbout and Saqr Fahm came in third.

The winners were crowned by His Excellency Abdullah Hamdan bin Dalmouk, CEO of the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Center for the Revival of Heritage, Brigadier “M.” Mohammed Obaid Al Muhairi, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Championship, and Lieutenant Colonel Khalifa Obaid Al Suwaidi, Vice Chairman of the Organizing Committee.

Lt. Col. Khalifa Obaid Al Suwaidi, Vice Chairman of the Organizing Committee, considered that the competitions were strong and equal, amid cooperation and full compliance with the instructions and laws.
