On Thursday, Emirates Airlines and the Dubai Health Authority signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at making Dubai one of the first cities in the world to apply digital verification of travelers’ medical records for “Covid-19” tests and vaccines.
The MoU was signed by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chief Executive Officer and CEO of Emirates Airlines and the Group, and Awad Al Ketbi, Director General of the Dubai Health Authority.

Under the memorandum of understanding, Emirates Airlines and the Dubai Health Authority will work on linking the information technology systems of the laboratories approved by the authority with the reservation systems and travel procedures of Emirates Airlines, to allow the sharing and storage of health information for passengers related to “Covid-19” injuries, tests and vaccines, and to verify them in a safe and compatible manner.
