Daft Punk, which includes the French duo: Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, announced after a career that spanned nearly 28 years, to the shock of their fans.

The duo’s announcement of the news of their separation came through a mysterious video titled Epilogue, meaning “conclusion” or “end”, as the two appeared wearing their Fashion Leather, robot hood that they adopted in public.

Through this jacket the duo were depositing each other in the desert, while one of them took off his jacket, and the other pressed a button at the back of his colleague who took off the jacket, while the latter walked away until he exploded.

At the end of the video, I indicated the date of the band’s birth in 1993 and the end of its career in 2021, in addition to that the video ends with one character in the desert without the other.

For her part, the well-known journalist, “Catherine Frazier,” who had a sale with the band and worked with her for a long time, during an interview with CNN confirmed the news of the famous duo’s separation, but she did not explain the reason.

In the same context, “Catherine” confirmed through pictures with the band, which she published on her account on the “Instagram” website, and attached her to a lengthy post in which she expressed her happiness to work with Daft Punk during the tour of the rich band.

She was keen to reveal some artistic memories with the band, such as participating in the Coachella Festival in 2006, world tours, and other memories she had with the duet.

This news did not go unnoticed by some celebrities, as they expressed their sadness at the separation of the duo, especially since their music is a source of inspiration, as Madison Beer shared the “story” feature through her account on the “Instagram” site, a photo that collected the Daft Punk and commented: “End the world”.

“I am not sure what to say at the moment, many people know that Daft Punk is my favorite group at all, I am broken … but I thank the group for changing my life,” she added in a message.

“Sad that I will never see the band’s concerts again,” said Madison Beer, captioning her tweet with the hashtag DaftPunkForever.

As for the Egyptian music distributor, Hassan El Shafei, he wrote through his social media accounts: “The duo, Daft Punk, the symbol of electronic music, are retiring. He thanked the band, which, in his words, was an example for him in his artistic journey, concluding: “Immortal music”.
