In Saudi Arabia, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs temporarily closed 10 mosques in 5 regions of the Kingdom, after Corona cases were confirmed among the ranks of worshipers.
The ministry indicated that the closed mosques are in the Riyadh region and the city of Abha, and three mosques are in the regions of Sharqiya, the northern border, and Jizan.
The ministry added that “the number of mosques that were closed precautionally in the Kingdom after establishing injuries among worshipers who frequent them reached 168 mosques, of which 153 were opened after the completion of sterilization and completion of readiness in the framework of ensuring the worshipers’ health and providing them with the highest safety standards.”
The Ministry called for the precautionary measures to be taken and cooperation in reporting any violations or laxity in implementing the precautionary measures approved by the competent authorities.
