A nutritionist and health specialist advised all people who abstain from eating onions, that they should eat a small onion daily because of its great benefits, in addition to avoiding a very dangerous and common disease in humans.
According to Russian dietitian Mikhail Ginsburg, onions are among the foods that contain large amounts of antioxidants, which gives them a high healing ability, according to Sputnik.
According to the specialist, these antibiotics present in onions can keep cancer away from people and spare them suffering.
The expert noted that many people have dormant foci of cancer, and these foci can become active at any moment.
“If inflammation occurs and the basics of tumors are affected, processes may occur that lead to the expansion of tumors in the body,” Ginsburg said in a TV interview.
The specialist explained that a cancerous tumor grows when its “fetus” begins to grow with blood vessels that contribute to its spread, but some foods contain substances that prevent this from happening, and among the foods that prevent the development of malignant formations of cancer, is onions.
Onions contain cortisin, which strengthens the walls of blood vessels and has a general anti-inflammatory effect, according to the Russian “Medic From”.
In addition to onions, garlic, turmeric, and ginger have similar effects to onions on tumors, according to the expert.
Ginsburg states that red onions are particularly beneficial in this regard, as they contain particularly large doses of antioxidants.
