A set of agreements for “SABB” and “Tawazun” in “IDEX”


SAP has signed a set of agreements with the Economic Balance and Tawazun Council for Technology and Innovation at the IDEX 2021 International Defense Exhibition and Conference in Abu Dhabi. The agreements directly include “SAP” research and development operations in the field of sensor systems in the United Arab Emirates, in addition to its participation in the Tawazun program to sustain and enhance localization Defense and Security Industries (SEEDS).
The signing ceremony was attended by Michael Johansson, President and CEO of SABB, Anna Karen Rosen, General Manager of SABB Limited in the UAE, and Tariq Abdul Rahim Al Hosani, CEO of the Equilibrium Economic Board.
Anna Karen Rosen said: “Research and development operations have been the focus of our growth strategy in the UAE since we opened the Production and Manufacturing Center at Tawazun Industrial Complex in Abu Dhabi in 2018. We are pleased to provide the UAE and global markets with sensor systems that can be used in the civilian and military fields alike. “We value our partnership with Tawazun, which aims to build strong foundations and integrated systems to upgrade the defense and security sector in the UAE.”
In turn, Tariq Abdul Rahim Al Hosani said: “Our partnership with SABB is an example of successful and meaningful global partnerships for both parties, and as part of our commitment to the UAE, we will continue with SABB our tireless efforts to develop and develop Emirati capabilities and enhance local competencies and skills. We are also pleased with SABB’s increased and effective participation in our various programs. ”
