Manchester United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has more than one name that can stop the danger of Egyptian Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool star.
Liverpool host Manchester United at Anfield next Sunday, in the 19th round of the Premier League.
Manchester United lead the Premier League standings after 18 rounds with 36 points, 3 points behind runner-up Liverpool.
The British newspaper “Daily Express” stated, in a report, that Manchester United has a duo capable of stopping Salah’s danger in the upcoming match.
The report stressed that the first name that can prevent Salah’s danger is Luke Shaw, United’s back, after he recently presented impressive levels on the offensive and defensive levels.
The resplendent left-back in the current season, with his offensive partnership with Marcus Rashford, can force Salah to return to the back to play his defensive roles.
The report criticized Salah’s response in recent matches, which will make Shaw’s mission impossible to stop the danger of the Egyptian star, especially with the fact that Salah does not score much at Manchester United.
Salah only scored one goal against United during the five matches he played against the latter, in the 2-0 victory of the Premier League last season.
The second name capable of stopping Salah, according to the report, is Ivorian Eric Bailey, who recently returned from injury to play a major role in the Red Devils’ defense.
Bayley’s levels have made him, lately, surpassing captain Harry Maguire and Sweden’s Victor Lindelof.
It is noteworthy that Salah is competing this season for the Premier League scorer award, as he is the top scorer in the competition with 13 goals, one goal difference from South Korean Heung Min Son, star of Tottenham Hotspur.
