Egyptian Mohamed Salah broke a knot that has held him in the FA Cup since 2014, after he led Liverpool to victory over Aston Villa in the third round of the competition, on Friday.
Salah scored the fourth goal against Aston Villa to help his team win 4-1.
This is the first time that the Egyptian star won the FA Cup, since his first participation in the competition in 2014.
Salah had lost all the matches he had previously fought in the FA Cup, which came as follows:
2014 – Lost in the company of Chelsea, by Manchester City
2018- Lost with Liverpool to West Bromwich Albion
2019- Lost with Liverpool against Wolverhampton
2020- He missed the Liverpool squad that beat Shrewsbury Town, then participated in the squad that lost to Chelsea
2021- He defeated Aston Villa with Liverpool, scoring one goal.
