The Director of Health Services in Al Udeid Governorate, Muhammad Al-Bakhit, revealed the roles played by the health services at the Salwa border crossing with Qatar, explaining a major condition for entering the Kingdom’s lands.
He said, during his interview with Al-Akhbariya channel, that its roles are to match the traveler’s data with the PCR certificate issued by different countries, and then obtain a commitment from the traveler that his data is correct.
He explained that the traveler is required to download the “Tawakolna” application, which determines the location of the traveler within the Kingdom to determine quarantine procedures, which lasts from 3 to 7 days.
He pointed out that the port does not contain travelers’ screening devices to detect Corona injuries, but the tasks of its medical services are limited to matching the traveler’s data with a PCR certificate, which he takes as a main procedure to enter the Kingdom’s territory.
