Al-Mas said, during televised statements by On Time Sports with the journalist Saif Zaher, on Friday evening: “I was fortunate to have developed with a strong group, especially our presence with Zamalek and Tunisia’s Esperance, and the Senegalese team cannot be underestimated after its exclusion of Moroccan Raja.”

He added: “For us, it is the return of Mouloudia to compete for the African Champions League, unlike Zamalek and Esperance, who have been competing for some time.” He concluded: “We are optimistic about this tournament, especially after the group brought us together with our brothers from North Africa, and we certainly hope that two Arab teams will qualify.”
