Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The player of UAE club Al-Jazira, Ahmed Rabie, was injured after hitting his foot with the right-hand post in his first match after an absence of nearly two years, as he collided with a lighting pole in a friendly match in 2019.

In the Al-Jazira match against Khorfakkan, Ahmed Rabie returned to the stadiums after a long period of nearly two years after an injury he sustained as a result of colliding with a lighting pole in a friendly match for his team in 2019.

In the extra time of the match, Rabei was trying to catch a ball sent by his teammate, but he collided with the right post of the Khorfakkan goal, leaving the stadium injured.

And Al-Jazira club revealed in a statement after the match that the tests proved the presence of a puff in the player’s foot, but other medical procedures and additional examinations will be conducted for him to determine the nature of the injury and the treatment program that must be followed.

It is noteworthy that Al-Jazira lost the match by 3 goals against Khorfakkan in the Arabian Gulf League.
