Kremlin spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, said that Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed his condolences on the death of Larry King, who had an interview with Putin several times.
“The president has always valued his high professionalism and indisputable journalistic authority,” Peskov told reporters.
The Russian Embassy in the United States also expressed its condolences over the death of the famous American talk show character Larry King.
“We extend our deepest condolences and condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Larry King, presenter of the famous talk show, who will be missed by millions of his viewers and listeners, and everyone who loved, respected and admired this exceptional man,” the embassy said in a statement.
The Russian embassy in the United States added that King is “unique” and “a legend” who interviewed tens of thousands of politicians, clerics, businessmen, movie stars and celebrities over more than 60 years of his career.
