Today, the Saudi Space Authority signed – by default through the exchange of official documents – an executive program with the University of Arizona (UA) in the United States of America to cooperate in projects and activities related to the disciplines of space science and space engineering, where the authority was represented in the signing of the memorandum by the Director of the General Administration for International Relations Abdulaziz The stranger, while the university was represented by the Vice President and Dean for International Affairs, Brent White.
The executive program focuses on enhancing cooperation between the two sides in the tracks related to space science, and building capacity in this path through the exchange of students, faculty members, administrative staff, and researchers specializing in the fields of space sciences. The program also aims to encourage the enrollment of Saudi students in degree programs (Bachelor and Master). And Ph.D., and joining the short summer programs in the fields of space science and engineering, and creating other collaborative research opportunities between Saudi students and their University of Arizona counterparts.
The signing of the executive program also aims to assist in the development of Saudi university programs specialized in the space path, and to give Saudi students the opportunity to obtain scientific degrees issued jointly between the University of Arizona and the partner Saudi universities.
