The main Saudi stock index closed today, up 17.43 points, to close at 8846.95 points, with trades amounting to 5.6 billion riyals.
The number of shares traded reached more than 165 million shares, shared by more than 245,000 deals in which the shares of 101 companies recorded an increase in their value, while the shares of 82 companies closed lower.
The shares of Baazeem, Al-Tameer, Enaya, Sipchem International and the Red Sea companies were the most high, while the shares of Jazadco, Al-Omran, Al-Rajhi Takaful, Solidarity Takaful and Arab Shield were the lowest in trading, with the increase and decrease rates ranged between 5.86% and 3.08% .
While the shares of the Red Sea, Al-Inma, Lazurde, Saudi Kayan and Sipchem International companies were the most active in terms of quantity, the shares of Sadr, Al-Ahly, Bazim, Red Sea and Al-Omran companies were the most active in value.
The parallel Saudi stock index (Nomu) also closed today, down 436.94 points, to close at 26053.45 points, with trades amounting to 21 million riyals, and the number of shares traded reached 140 thousand shares, shared by 641 deals.
