On the occasion of the auspicious 72nd Republic Day of India, I would like to extend my best wishes to all my fellow Indian citizens residing in the Western Region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He explained that India and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia enjoy warm friendly relations that reflect the old economic, social and cultural relations between the two countries. In recent years, bilateral relations have reached new heights, as evidenced by the frequent reciprocal visits at the upper levels of the Indian-Saudi Strategic Partnership Council. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is India’s fourth largest trading partner, and bilateral trade volume between the two countries exceeded $ 33 billion in 2019/2020.Despite the enormous challenges of the Corona pandemic (Covid-19), the Consulate General of India in Jeddah, under the direction of the Indian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, His Excellency Dr. Awsaf Saeed, and with the support of the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has worked diligently and sincerely to ensure the provision of the best possible consular services and social care for the community. Indian who live in the western provinces of Saudi Arabia.
We express our sincere gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, His Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for their support and for providing a favorable environment for Indian citizens to live and work in the Kingdom. We also extend our thanks and gratitude to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Labor and the Ministry of Interior in the Kingdom, as well as the Passport Authorities, the Expatriate Follow-up Department, and other agencies and agencies that have always provided the best possible assistance to the consulate in its efforts to ensure the welfare of Indians.
I also thank my Indian colleagues in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for their hard work, contributing to the growth and development of the two countries as well as for their effort in strengthening relations between India and Saudi Arabia.
