Chinese Xiaomi enables wireless charging of devices through the air


Chinese Xiaomi has announced the Mi Air Charge wireless charging technology, which the company says is able to charge devices in a radius of several meters.

Currently, the new charging technology offers 5W remote charging for a single device within a radius of several meters.

Apart from that, multiple devices can also be charged simultaneously (each device supports 5W), and physical hurdles do not reduce charging efficiency.
