Central- Juventus went out with the full score at home to Bologna

Juventus boosted their chance in defending the Italian Serie A championship title by defeating at home to Bologna 2-0 and advancing them to the semi-finals.

Brazilian Arthur Melo scored his first goal for the Italian champions in the first half with a ball that changed direction before his American teammate, Stone McKinney, added the second goal in the 71st minute.

Bologna goalkeeper Okach Skorubsky saved several dangerous chances, and his team also created several great opportunities in the exciting match that took place at Allianz Stadium.

Juventus’ win, led by coach Andrea Pirlo, came after their defeat by Inter Milan 2-0 last week, and accordingly, the difference that separates Juventus from Milan alone at the top has narrowed to seven points. Juventus played less than Milan.

Juventus are fourth with 36 points from 18 matches, one point behind Roma, third, while Bologna is 13th with 20 points.
