Al Muhairbi is the “Hydrofoil” champion in “Kite Surf Dubai” – local sport


The day before yesterday, Nisnas Beach in Jumeirah witnessed the competitions of the first day of the second round of the Dubai Open Championship for skating boards, kite surfing, which was organized by the Dubai International Marine Club over a period of two days. A press release said: “The event recorded the participation of more than 60 contestants representing more than 20 countries around the world, who competed in the hydrofoil, twin tip and open skills categories – FreeStay” titles.

Ahmed Al-Muhairbi won the top spot in the national amateur category, ahead of Khaled Al-Jaffa who finished second, and Muhammad Obaid Al-Mansoori, who won third place.

Rookie Abdullah Hareb, in the junior competition, “Hydrofoil”, won second place.

The men’s and women’s professional competitions saw a French domination of first place.
