Al-Jazeera receives its sixth aircraft from Airbus

Jazeera Airways has received a new Airbus A320neo, bringing the number of the aircraft in its fleet to 15. The new plane arrived at Kuwait International Airport on Saturday.

The A320neo delivers fuel economy savings, has a longer flight range, provides additional payload capacity, helps reduce engine noise and reduces operational costs. The aircraft is equipped with the design of Jazeera Airways’ cabins, which have unique leather seats.

“We are delighted to welcome this new aircraft to our fleet, and it is the first new aircraft for 2021 among previous orders that will be received as well during the year,” said Jazeera Airways CEO Rohit Ramachandran. Despite the challenges that the aviation sector has witnessed since the beginning of last year due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we believe that the travel sector will gradually return to its previous state thanks to the success of health and safety measures that have made travel safe for all.

It is worth noting that Jazeera Airways operates a fleet of fifteen Airbus aircraft, nine of which are A320 and six are A320neo. The company is scheduled to receive three new A320neo aircraft in 2021.
