The granddaughter of the chief rabbi of Tel Aviv, Yisrael Lau, claimed that her grandfather had contracted the Coronavirus, despite receiving two doses of the “Pfizer” vaccine against Covid-19.
Yedia described, through her Twitter account, the health condition of the former Chief Rabbi of Israel as “remarkable.”
He explained that Rabbi Lau transmitted the infection to him from his wife, who had contact with a person who had tested positive for the virus, early last week.
Lau, 83, was vaccinated with the first and second doses of the Pfizer vaccine.
It is mentioned that vaccination aims to ensure that those who receive the vaccine are immunized against the virus and able to fight it. However, in some cases, infection and transmission of the virus are not ruled out without any symptoms.
