Facebook completed its latest acquisition after purchasing Kustomer, a company that specializes in developing customer service technologies and systems, and chatbots.
Kustomer says to develop automatic chatbot systems to help companies integrate them into their sites easily, and with it it provides a main control panel that allows to follow all conversations and interactions in one place, thus facilitating the work of the customer service team greatly.
Facebook has not revealed the financial details of the deal, but The Wall Street Journal has reported Kustomer’s billion-dollar valuation.
The acquisition of a company of this type is an extension of Facebook’s endeavors in the e-commerce sector, especially with the launch of the Shops feature on its main platform and the Instagram platform in the middle of this year.
Kustomer systems will help the users to adopt stores for Facebook and expand their activities with excellent customer services.
