Ahmed Diab, CEO of “Z” for Sports Investment, confirmed that his management would depend on the youth after the acquisition of Masr Club, which was relegated from the Premier League to the lowest division.
In a press conference announcing Z’s acquisition of Club Egypt, Diab said: “We were offered several Premier League clubs for purchase, but we preferred Egypt Club.”
“Our biggest dependence will be on the youngsters, 60% of European clubs are following the same approach, and we are interested in exporting talent, and we have already started in the youth sector a while ago,” added the president of Z.
Diab added, “We succeeded in forming a strong emerging sector, and we formed a partnership with Borussia Dortmund in this field, and this does not diminish our interest in the first team, after we acquired most of the shares in the Misr Football Company, which owns Masr Club.”
The president of Z company concluded: “We thank Michael Salgado, advisor to international championships in the junior sector, and in the coming period we will expand at all levels, and we will add tennis courts in the Fifth Settlement branch and we have already created squash courts, and on our way to complete the sports hospital, our journey is long and we need all support from All the sports field, we chose the construction path, which is the most difficult. ”
