The United States ... Pfizer and Moderna vaccines may get approval from authorities within weeks

“Our plan is to be able to ship the vaccines to the vaccination sites within 24 hours of approval, so I expect (that will happen) maybe on the second day after approval on December 11 or 12,” Al-Salawi said in an interview with CNN today.

Al-Slaoui added that “70% of the population must be vaccinated in order for life to return to normal,” noting that “the minimum age for receiving the Pfizer vaccine is 13 or 14 years.”

On Wednesday, Alex Azar, the US Secretary of Health and Human Services, announced that the two potential vaccines for “Pfizer” and “Moderna” may obtain the approval of the authorities in preparation for their distribution within weeks.
