To facilitate procedures … Saudi Customs grants Saudi Post a customs clearance license


Saudi Customs granted a “customs clearance license” to Saudi Post, in the presence of Ahmed Al-Haqbani, Governor of the General Authority of Customs, and Engineer Anaf Abanami, President of the Saudi Post Corporation.

The granting of the license comes as an endeavor by Saudi Customs and Saudi Post to raise the efficiency of operational services and develop customs procedures in postal complexes, as upon granting the license the post will undertake all customs clearance tasks, including the necessary steps for clearance, which include communicating with customers and notifying them to submit any document to end customs procedures in addition to Fill out the customs declaration and deliver the shipments to customers.

The move aims to enable Saudi Post to provide distinguished services to beneficiaries and to improve the services provided in the postal complexes, in addition to that this achieves what Customs seeks by focusing its performance on the control, security and financial aspects, which contributes to facilitating customs procedures, raising the efficiency of operational services and enhancing the performance of customs work.

The Saudi Customs had recently started providing training courses for a group of Saudi Post employees through its academy that dealt with training courses in customs business with the aim of introducing customs procedures to clearers and the steps necessary to end the clearance of shipments.
