Today, the third phase of the gradual return of Umrah began, allowing the performance of Umrah and prayers for citizens and residents from inside and outside Saudi Arabia, while taking the necessary health precautions.

And the third stage in which it is allowed to perform Umrah, visitation and prayers for citizens and residents from inside and outside Saudi Arabia. It started today, Sunday, the fifteenth of Rabi` al-Awwal, and continues until the Corona pandemic is officially announced, or the danger has disappeared by 100%, by 20 thousand pilgrims per day, and 60 thousand worshipers per day.

The first phase, which started in the middle of Safar 1442 AH, witnessed the permitting of (6) thousand pilgrims per day from the citizens and residents of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, at a rate of (30)% of the capacity. This was followed by the second phase during which (40) thousand worshipers were able to perform the prayers in the Grand Mosque in Mecca, and (15) thousand pilgrims per day, representing 75% of the total capacity that takes into account the health precautionary measures of the Grand Mosque in Mecca. It was also allowed to visit the honorable kindergarten in the Prophet’s Mosque.
