King Abdulaziz always repeated when the debate raged between him and representatives of other countries: Who are the Arabs? Hanna Arabs! He did not – may God have mercy on him – accept that anyone outbid us in this matter. I do not mean only that this land is the source of Arabism and Islam, but rather that the Saudi state is not an emergency country, but rather a state that strikes in the depths of history and will soon complete 600 years of its long, long life. Who among the countries and governments of the world whose age extended to 600 years ?!Since the pledge of allegiance between Muhammad bin Saud, Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab and the rulers of Al Saud took place, an authoritarian tendency has not driven them to rule, but rather a sense of responsibility towards this land and its people, so that order, justice, security and prosperity for all would prevail.

What was happening in some Arab countries and the third world countries military coups that took place under the name of revolution. As for the Saudi revolution, it is a white, peaceful civil revolution in which no gallows were erected and blood did not flow in it except in the battles of unification or for the sake of establishing security and realizing the truth or resisting the invaders.

When we talk about the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, we are talking about a tall entity rooted in geography, history and people. This lofty entity was not united except by the sacrifices and blood of the heroes of his sons in the battlefields of unification battles. These heroes are not from one region without another, but they are from the Kingdom of all its regions and all its tribes, and all of them deserve to be honored and that their fragrant memory remain fresh in minds as a catalyst for all generations and from all regions and all walks of life to make sacrifices, each in his field of work and specialization. These are symbols of martyrdom, sacrifice, sacrifice, and giving for the sake of the homeland.

These martyrs are among the heroes who fought the battlefields without compulsion, but rather fought them out of their belief in the idea of the state that unites the whole country under one banner. The rulers of the House of Saud were not managing these battles from the ivory towers, but they were always at the forefront of the rows leading them, and many of them were martyred in the arena of honor, as others were martyred.

As we have reached this advanced stage of maturity, awareness and openness, it is the right of these heroes to immortalize their heroism in the minds of the generations as examples to emulate and symbols that we can imitate in the love of the nation and sacrifice for it, and bright proofs that the Kingdom’s political unity in its various regions and tribes is rooted in the minds of the ancestors since the inception of this country and its early beginnings And that our unity is a unity of purpose and destiny and not a unit that dominates one region over another.

It is not possible to count all the heroes who fell in the field of honor, but it is okay to include a random list representing the different regions and spectrums. It is noteworthy that these heroes come from the east, west, south and north regions, which confirms the roots of the concepts and objectives of the Saudi state in all parts of the kingdom now. Contemporary history bears witness to this patriotic cohesion, as the fierce media campaigns against the Kingdom have failed to undermine the national awareness and the Saudi people’s confidence in their country. And his commitment to his unity.

In order to consolidate the concept of the state and the idea of geographical unity for which these heroes fought and martyred, it is not sufficient to read their names in passing in the expanded history books, rather it is necessary to establish their names and their heroism in the collective memory from which the consciousness of generations is formed. Therefore, I think that we establish for these heroes statues of signs and memorials adorning public squares and squares throughout the Kingdom to remain visual evidence that reinforces our identity and values and affirms the unity of destiny and purpose.

The following is a very brief random sample of the heroes who were martyred in defense of this homeland and does not include all the heroes, nor does it include leaders from the House of Saud and the Sheikh family, such as Muhammad bin Saud, founder of the state, Turki bin Abdullah, Faisal bin Turki and King Abdulaziz.
