The average exchange rate of the euro against the Egyptian pound stabilized today, Saturday, November 21, 2020, in exchange companies and ATMs.

According to a survey conducted by “Al Ain News”, the Housing and Development Bank came as the best bank to sell the euro to for 18.4518 pounds, while the Central Bank of Egypt was the best bank to buy the euro from 18.5685 pounds.

In the National Bank of Egypt (the largest government bank), the price of the euro recorded about 18.4227 pounds for purchase, and 18.6036 pounds for sale, and in Banque Misr (governmental) the price of the euro was recorded at 18.4476 pounds for purchase and 18.6036 pounds for sale.

The average exchange rate of the euro against the Egyptian pound in the Central Bank of Egypt was about 18.4155 pounds for purchase and 18.5685 pounds for sale.

Bankers said that the pound strengthened against foreign currencies after the Central Bank of Egypt managed to sell treasury bills worth more than $ 1.5 billion.

In an indication of the confidence of international institutions in the Egyptian economy, the Central Bank of Egypt succeeded in extending the credit facility for a period of 6 years with a group of international banks, instead of 4 years.

Dollar and sterling prices

The average price of the dollar in the Central Bank of Egypt scored about 15.5576 pounds for purchase, and 15.6855 pounds for sale, while the price of the sterling scored about 20.6185 pounds for purchase and 20.7959 pounds for sale.

Real, dirham and dinar

According to the prices of the Central Bank, the average price of the Saudi riyal was recorded at about 4.1481 pounds for purchase, and 4.1825 pounds for sale, while the Emirati dirham recorded 4.2351 pounds for purchase, and 4.2707 pounds for sale, while the Kuwaiti dinar scored about 50.8517 pounds for purchase, and 51.3405 pounds for sale.
