Company revealed Samsung The Korean unveiled its new Samsung W21 5G phone, which is a similar version to the Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G.
The device has a 7.6 inch Dynamic AMOLED display on the inside and a 6.23 inch Super AMOLED external screen with Gorilla Glass Victus.
The W21 5G is powered by Snapdragon 865+ processor with 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage.
The two devices differ in size only, as the W21 is slightly longer than the Z Fold 2, and the W21 has two SIM card slots, but they have the same 4,500 mAh battery with 25 watt wired charging and an 11 watt wireless charger, as well as a triple camera setup on the back.
The company launched the W21 5G phone for pre-order starting today at a price of 20,000 Chinese yuan through Samsung’s official online stores, and that price is higher than the regular Galaxy Z Fold 2 price available in China at 17,000 yuan.
It is reported that Samsung released the Galaxy Z Fold 2 on the first of last September with the Snapdragon 865+ chipset paired with the 12 GB RAM.
Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a 6.2-inch Super AMOLED display and a foldable Dynamic AMOLED screen, and although the Galaxy Z Fold 2 screen uses an ultra-thin glass, it has an additional protective plastic layer.
The device’s main triple camera setup includes a 12MP Ultra Wide Camera with a 12MP ultra-wide camera and a 12MP sensor.
Galaxy Z Fold 2 contains two batteries with a combined capacity of 4,500mAh, with 25W fast charging capability.
