Sharjah halts the victories of the Brigadier General and continues to lead the Arab Gulf League


Sharjah defeated Al-Nasr 2-1 to clinch its summit against Al-Nasr in the sixth round of the Arabian Gulf League, continuing its lead in the competition with the full score, while stopping a series of victories and the Brigadier’s brilliance, attached to the first loss.
Sharjah 24 – Mahmoud Ali:

The Sharjah team decided its summit with Al-Nassr in the sixth round of the Arab Gulf League, by beating it 2-1 during the match that was held at Sharjah Stadium, so the king continued to lead the competition for the sixth round in a row, while inflicting the first defeat of victory this season.

Sharjah opened the scoring by Igor Kornado from the penalty spot in the 20th minute, and Diaa Sabaa equaled the score in the 58th minute.

Igor Kornado added the second goal to Sharjah from a penalty kick as well, 78 after a handball on Al-Nasr player Tariq Ahmed.

The meeting saw the referee canceling a red card on Caio Lucas, the 38th Sharjah player, after resorting to video technology, to replace it with a yellow card.

The match also saw the referee canceling a goal scored by Wilton Suarez, the Sharjah player, in the 68th minute due to offside.

With this result, Sharjah raised its score to the 18th point in the lead, while Al-Nasr’s balance stopped at point 13.
