Saudi 360 – His Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Saudi Minister of Sports, confirmed the Kingdom’s readiness to host the 2030 Olympic Games.
Al-Faisal said in his statements on the Saudi Sports Channel: “The Kingdom has proven to everyone that it is capable of organizing the largest sporting events … and with this support, I promise that we are ready to host the Asian Games.”
He continued: “We have a lot of work to do until we reach full readiness in 2030, we have not yet won the hosting of the Asian Games, but the evaluation committee is here for 4 days to evaluate the file and God willing, we will succeed and have this victory.”
He continued: “I have great confidence in Prince Fahd and all the young people working with us on this file, and also we have sought some expertise in order to present their expertise to these young people. God willing, we present something worthy of the name of the Kingdom.
On his part; Prince Fahd bin Jalawi said in his statements: “The Kingdom is capable of organizing the 2030 Asian Games and is 100% ready. We have international experts in addition to a large Saudi cadre and there is a convergence between them that has resulted in a strong file.”

The activities of the Asian Games are held once every 4 years by the Olympic Council of Asia and under the supervision of the International Olympic Committee. Gold medals are awarded to the first winner, silver to the second winner, and bronze to the third in various games.
