Saudi 360 – Brazilian club Botafogo has officially announced the dismissal of Argentine Ramon Diaz from coaching the first team, just 3 weeks after his appointment to this position.
“Coach Ramon Diaz and all his assistants informed us of their departure,” the club said in an official statement on its Twitter account.
Ramon Diaz sacked from Botafogo training:
Ramon Diaz returned to his country after being introduced as coach of the club due to an earlier hospital appointment and has not returned since.
He continued: “The club is confident that Ramon Diaz will fully restore his health, and we thank him and his assistants Emiliano Diaz, Osmar Ferreira, Jorge Pedal, Damien Paz and Juan Nicolas Romanazzi for their time at the club.”
He added, “Eduardo Baruca will be the new coach of the team, and he will arrive with Felipe Lucena (technical assistant) and Anderson Nunes (physical coach) to lead the team on Saturday.”
