Nader Shawky, the players’ agent, confirmed that Hossam Ghaly, captain of the former Al-Ahly club’s first football team, will run for the Red Castle board elections in the coming period.
Hossam Ghaly resigned last week from the position of football manager at El Gouna club, after two seasons with the Sahel team, which was managed by Nader Shawky, and he also submitted his resignation.
Nader said in statements to On Time Sport channel on Friday, “Hossam Ghaly I see him in the board of directors of Al-Ahly club and a future president of the club after a long life for Mahmoud Al-Khatib, the current president of the club.”
He added, “Ghali’s time at El Gouna Club helped him a lot, and if it was not suitable for this place, he would not have continued. This is important to him psychologically in the future.”
He continued, “In all cases, Hossam Ghaly would have left the club at the end of the season to prepare for the Al-Ahly club elections.”
Nader Shawky concluded his remarks, “Hossam Ghaly is on the board of directors of Al-Ahly Club and his place will be on Mahmoud Al-Khatib’s list. There are no problems between Al-Ahly president and Hussam Ghali, and the relationship between them is good, and Ghali knows the value and stature of Al-Khatib.”
