Sweden coach Jan Anderson confirmed that Milan’s Italian star Zlatan Ibrahimovic would not return to the squad.
Ibrahimovic, 39, recently published a picture of him in the Swedish national team shirt, through his official account in “Instagram” and wrote: “I have not seen you for a long time.”

Ibrahimovic’s last appearance in Sweden was on June 22, 2016, in his country’s last matches in the Euro 2016 championship.
“Some people have told me that there is a plan behind this picture,” Anderson said. “But I don’t understand what it means, and I don’t want to put a lot of effort into it.”
He added, “It has been 4 and a half years since Ibrahimovic announced the end of his international career, and we talked about that after the European Championship.”
He concluded: “I have great respect for Zlatan, just like many other players who made the same decision, but the matter is closed to me.”
Ibra is the top scorer in the Italian league with 7 goals, and contributed greatly to Milan’s distinguished start this season, as “Rossoneri” leads the “Calcio” teams with 16 points (5 wins and one draw) after 6 rounds of the competition.
