Basmati rice: 2 cups (washed, soaked, and drained)
Minced meat: 250 grams
Margarine: 1 tablespoon
Vegetable oil: 1 tablespoon
Nutmeg: 1/4 teaspoon (finely grated)
Mixed spices: half a teaspoon
Black pepper: half a teaspoon
Cardamom: 1/4 teaspoon (ground)
Cinnamon: 1/4 teaspoon (ground)
Almonds: 1/4 cup (toasted slices / to garnish)
Hot water: two to three quarters of a cup
Heat the oil and ghee in a nonstick saucepan over medium heat.
Add minced meat and stir until brown.
Add salt and black pepper and stir for 5 minutes.
Add rice, mixed spices, nutmeg, cinnamon, and cardamom, and to my heart.
Pour the hot water and leave the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat, cover the pot and leave it for 25 minutes until the rice is completely cooked.
Pour the rice into a serving dish, spread the roasted almonds and serve hot along with the meat or chicken to taste
