To start, Google has a tool called Google Takeout that allows users to download all their data stored in Google accounts, including Google Photos, and to do so, follow these steps:

1. Open Google Takeout by visiting “” from any browser

2. Log in with your Google account credentials

3. After that, click on the option “Unselect All”

4. Now, scroll down and tick the checkbox in front of the Google Photos option

5. Under the Google Photos option, users can click on the “Multiple Formats” option to check the formats into which the data will be exported

6. After that, users can choose specific albums to export by clicking “All embedded photo album” option and selecting specific albums

7. Once you have completed the selection process, scroll down and hit the Next Step button.

8. Under the delivery method option, choose “Email download link”

9. Under Frequency, choose Export once

10. Under File Type and Size, choose the zip option. And select the required download size ranging from 2GB to 50GB, files larger than the specified size will be split automatically into separate downloads.

11. Once done, click on the Create Export button.
