The Saudi Society of Periodontics and Surgery in Tabuk region concluded yesterday its awareness-raising and educational event for diabetics, which came in conjunction with World Diabetes Day, and lasted 5 days.
The representative of the association, a consultant periodontist, Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdullah Al-Huwaiti, explained that this campaign aims to educate and educate people with diabetes to the need to pay attention to oral and dental health to avoid complications that diabetes may cause to oral and dental health, indicating that the campaign included awareness of the habits that contribute to the incidence of disease Diabetes and ways to avoid it, and the importance of periodic review of the dental clinic.
