Earlier this month, it was rumored that Epic Games might consider launching a subscription service for Fortnite. This subscription gives players a constant flow of money within the game as well as many other perks. It turns out that these rumors were true, as Epic Games announced today the aforementioned subscription service, which it called Fortnite Crew.
For $ 11.99 a month, a Fortnite Crew subscription will give players access to the Battle Pass for the entire season, and continuous access to it as long as they remain subscribed. They will also get 1,000 V-Bucks every month which will allow them to purchase in-game items, as well as a new Fortnite Crew Outfit every month.
Since V-Bucks are usually $ 7.99, so for an additional $ 4, you’ll get other perks as well, so this might not necessarily be a bad deal if you spend a long time in the game. However, spending $ 11.99 each month can be expensive in the long run, but this service may attract more Fortnite players who can appreciate these perks.
The Fortnite Crew service will officially launch on the second day of December with the arrival of Season 5, so you still have some time to look into it. The game will continue to stay free, so if you are not keen to subscribe, you will not have to do so and you will be able to continue enjoying the game as it is.
