Al-Ahly players won the African Cup after winning the African Championship after beating Zamalek with two goals to one in the match that was held between them at Cairo Stadium in the final of the African Champions League.
Amr Al-Soleya scored the first goal for Al-Ahly in the fifth minute, and Shikabala tied for Zamalek in the 31st minute, and in the 86th minute, Mohamed Magdy Afsha scored the winning goal for Al-Marid Al-Ahmar to crown the championship.
