His agent denies that the Al-Ahly goalkeeper has been infected with the Corona virus
Al-Hadidi said in televised statements: “Muhammad Al-Shennawi is healthy and did not contract Corona virus, as some have said.
He added that the player participates in Al-Ahly training naturally, stressing: “I assure the fans of Al-Ahly club that Mohamed El-Shennawi is ready for the African Champions League final.”
He concluded: “Mohamed Al-Shennawi, captain of Al-Ahly, takes precautionary measures and focuses heavily on the team’s training to prepare for the upcoming match.”
Al-Ahly is preparing to face Zamalek next Friday at Cairo International Stadium in the final of the African Champions League, and El-Shennawi is considered one of the most important Al-Ahly players during the final match.
Some of the pioneers of social media had shared a picture of Mohamed El-Shennawi while he was in the Egyptian national team camp next to the duo Mohamed El-Niny, the Arsenal player, and Ali Gabr, the Pyramids player, and the two had been infected with the Corona virus, unlike some cases that appeared in the Al-Ahly club recently, such as Mahmoud Kahraba and Mohamed Sherif .
