Yesterday, the UAE sent a second aid plane, carrying 12 tons of medical supplies and testing equipment, to the Republic of Tajikistan, from which more than 12,000 health care workers will benefit, to enhance their efforts to contain the spread of the new Corona virus (Covid 19). ).

Ammar Al-Braiki, Chargé d’Affairs at the country’s embassy in Nur Sultan, said: “The UAE continues its efforts to support aspects of development in brotherly and friendly countries, based on the pioneering and humanitarian role of the UAE in this field, especially in times of crisis.”

He pointed out that the UAE had sent a medical aid plane to Tajikistan last May, carrying 10.5 tons of supplies, as part of strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries, and contributing to the efforts made by the relevant authorities in Tajikistan to combat (Covid 19), through Provide protection for front-row workers. It is worth noting that, as of yesterday, the UAE has provided more than 1,498 tons of aid to more than 118 countries, from which about 1.5 million medical workers have benefited.

Sharifi Bahadur Mahmudzadeh, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan, stressed the importance of the role that the UAE plays in combating the emerging “Corona” virus, Covid 19 around the world, praising the Emirati initiative to send a second shipment of medical supplies to his country.
