The Arab coalition intercepted a drone launched by the Houthis towards Saudi Arabia

The Joint Forces Command of the Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia announced that it had intercepted and destroyed an explosive UAV launched by the Houthis towards the Kingdom’s territory.

“The Houthis’ failed and repeated attempts to target civilians reflect their losses on the ground, especially in Al-Jawf and Marib,” said the coalition spokesman, Colonel Turki Al-Maliki.

Al-Maliki indicated that “the joint coalition forces were able to intercept and destroy an explosive drone launched by the Houthis in a systematic and deliberate manner to target civilian objects and civilians in the southern region.”

The coalition had previously announced that it had thwarted two similar attacks on Friday morning and evening, about a week after the two parties to the conflict in Yemen carried out the largest prisoner exchange process since the beginning of the crisis.
